PRACTICE LEVELS AND HOW THEY WORK

BEGINNERS: (ages 6 through 8 or as ability allows AND 10-12 according to ability ). Teaches the basic fundamentals of the four competitive strokes as well as introducing intervals, starts and turns.

    INTERMIDIUM: (ages 10+over according to ability) This is the second highest practice group within the ROCKWAY Swimming Team program. This level is designed to prepare swimmers for the commitment that is expected from them at the advanced level. Emphasis is on stroke mechanics, meet preparation, goal setting and a serious, structured practice

ADVANCED: (ages 13+over according to ability). This group is the pinnacle of the Rockway Swimming Team program and is designed for swimmers who demonstrate high levels of motivation and proficiency, and who possess the determination and commitment required to become the best senior swimmer they can be. The Senior program prepares each swimmer for competition in dual meet and championship meet atmospheres.

      2007 ROCKWAY TOP 16 SWIMMERS

  JC Juan Carlos Sequera Finished 1st place in USA IMX Challenge ranking . The IMX Challenge is a motivational program whereby swimmers will be scored and ranked nationally on their performance in a combination of five or six events. 200 IM, 400 IM, 400/500 Free, 200 Back, 200 Brst, 200 Fly Click here
The Litherland Brothers Jay, Kevin & Mike finished 3rd, 4th & 12th place in Boy 11-12 FGC Top16 ranking
Santiago Olano finished 9th place in Boy 11-12 FGC Top16 ranking scoring points  in every single event.
The Vives Brothers Brandon & Erik  Brandon finished 2nd place  in Boys 8 & Under and Erik 1st place in Boys 6 & under.
Stephani Sequera  finished 3rd place  in Girls 8 & Under FGC Top16 ranking, showing that swimming is running in the Sequera's genes.....
Pereira Alessandro with less than an year of trainning finished 16th  place in Boy 8 & under FGC Top16
